Since 1987, Vaca Arts has been Vacaville's Arts Council.

Vaca Arts is a public service organization whose purpose is to foster, promote, encourage and nurture the visual and performing arts in the community. Vaca Arts provides coordination and leadership by increasing knowledge, appreciation and accessibility to the arts with the help of interested individuals and private and public organizations.

Vaca Arts presents the Salute to the Stars Gala, allowing the organizations to honor those who have made a significant contribution to the arts during the year.

Vaca Arts publishes an annual Directory of the arts organizations, their officers, plus organization information. Vaca Arts provides information about performances and exhibits. Location, times and dates of Vaca Arts member organization events are provided to the community through a monthly postcard.
